CEREC CAD/CAM Crowns and Bridges/Veneer/Inlays and Onlays Crowns and bridges/veneer/inlays and onlays, are classified as services of fixed Prosthodontics, a dental specialty dealing with the replacement of loss tooth structure by using various dental materials, most esthetically, with porcelain products. Often, the therapy can be used to alter the occlusion. When it is done correctly, i.e., with good occlusion, material strength, good marginal fit, the restoration can last for a lifetime. CEREC CAD/CAM, introduced by Sirona, is an all-porcelain ceramic system that allow a crown, bridge, veneer, inlays, or onlays, to be designed on a computer using CAD/CAM technology, and then milled precisely in the robotic milling chamber. The resulting restoration possessed all of the above properties (occlusion, material strength, and marginal fit), with the addition of the exceptional esthetics due to the all-porcelain translucency and the ability for custom characterization. Dr. Dinh X. Bui, D.D.S., M.S. has been designing these highly esthetic restorations since the year of 2000. Our restorations are custom characterized, stained, and glazed using VITA and/or PROCAD products at chair side to ensure esthetics and 100% patient satisfaction. All our restorations preferrably can be delivered at the same preparation appointment.
